 Bismark B    The Bismark B is a PREMIUM manufactured kit using 2-5/8" thick wall logs. An affordable 2-bedroom cabin or home and the ideal ADU – additional dwelling unit. Like all models, it has a vaulted ceiling throughout. Delivered and ready to assemble on a concrete slab or wood subfloor. This premium model can be insulated using our metal brackets to mount studs and 3/4" tongue & groove wall cover boards applied over the studs. The solid wood has a thermal mass rating of R-12, add R-15 insulation between the studs to have exceptional energy efficiency equivalent to = R-27. Insulating kit including brackets and wall cover boards is an extra 10% Option: the front wall can be moved out to eliminate the porch, increasing the interior living space at no extra cost. Tip: Mineral wool insulation is recommended for log construction. It’s impervious to moisture with a higher R-value per inch than fiberglass and is considered a GREEN building material, environmentally friendly insulation This model can be assembled in 5 days with 4 people and passes structural requirements for building codes.
